Avian
Overview
Pros
- Featherweight: You fall in a fashion similar to chicken.
- Tailwind/Like Air: You are somewhat faster while moving on the ground and even in the air.
- Oviparous: You lay an egg when you wake up in the morning. Noice.
Cons
- Vegetarian: You can't eat all meat foods. Mixed foods have less effectiveness.
- Fresh Air: You can't sleep in a bed under 86 blocks of altitude.
Origin Playstyle
This origin practically plays itself. A fantastic choice for beginners and people who want some easy benefits. You ideally want to be a fan of speed, gliding, and movement in general. If fall damage is a big problem for you the slow falling and gliding is fantastic. You are faster in general and can get around really quickly. Unless you are literally obsessed with meat or rely heavily on beds you have an easy win with this origin that provides nothing but great benefits.
Gameplay
Gotta go fast.
This origin plays mostly the same. If you've always wanted to be able to go places in a hurry this origin is great for getting a move on. Gliding ensures not even a cliff can stop your forward momentum, which is even somewhat preserved in the air. Faster movement in general is a great positive and you don't even use more hunger for taking advantage of it.
Fall Damage
Fall damage is negated entirely from a soft slow fall. The only way you can take fall damage is if you sneak which will make you stop gliding temporarily and fall. So as long as you don't sneak, you are fall damage immune.
Bedn't
To sleep you must be at a height of about 86 blocks. This isn't very hard to achieve but can be slightly annoying. This does not hinder your use of beds as explosives in the nether or end at all! Beds will still explode in the end/nether as usual at ANY altitude. So don't fret about that!
