Overview

Pros

• Climbing: Climb up any kind of wall. (Can be enabled/disabled with primary power key)
• Master of Webs: Navigate through cobwebs with no problems. Hitting enemies will trap them in a cobweb. You can sense things stuck in a cobweb. You can craft cobweb with two strings.

Cons

• Carnivore: You can only eat food with meat in it. Foods partially made of meat will have less hunger/saturation.
• Fragile: You have 3 less hearts. You are quite weak.

Origin Playstyle

This is a mostly safe choice as an origin. If you are tired of getting stuck in pits or not being able to climb mountains this origin is insanely powerful. You ideally want to be pretty decent at surviving and get armor quickly thanks to having 3 less hearts. Without farming you'll need to be doing animal husbandry or nomadic hunting. Your ability to trap enemies with cobweb is insanely powerful. The only downside to cobweb trapping is creepers getting stuck in your cobweb ability and not being knocked back. This can be as dangerous as it is beneficial if you don't account for it.

Gameplay

Climbing

While climbing isn't super fast it lets you get pretty much just about anywhere. When the world is your ladder mountains are easy to climb, holes are easy to escape, and builds might be a little easier with your ability to scale your creations.

Traps

If you live alone you can setup a lot of traps at your house for mobs to get stuck in as just 2 strings allows you to craft cobweb. Your ability to move through cobweb is excellent and the ability to see mobs walking through cobweb is a fantastic way of giving you early warning of players and mobs.

Cobweb Attack Ability

Your ability to temporarily place cobwebs on enemies you hit has a fairly short cooldown and this can kill lots of mobs fairly easily. Endermen and phantoms both are in a terrible spot when put in cobwebs and this gives you a great new way to kill both. With this excellent ability you have only one bad drawback, which is creepers also get placed in web temporarily. Creepers in the web won't have knockback, so you'll have to keep backing up and watch your spacing a little more carefully.

Nomadic Hunter/Animal Husbandry

Thanks to being a carnivore you can't just live off of a giant wheat farm but combined with chickens and cows you'll be set with quality meat. That isn't your only option though and fish are EXCELLENT for eating when you need a expendable and easy meal to catch. Both fishing through a fishing rod but even easier to do is jump in the water and kill fish with a sword to collect lots of food even on the go. A spider like yourself should totally get a smoker or a create mod smoking machine to quickly cook your food.
